Moncy Varughese with Fast Flooring DFW is absolutely the best contractor for flooring. Swift, and beautiful installation of carpet in my fellow veterans home. The kindest most honest people and work was done be he and his crew. Cannot say enough positive things about the quality of work completed in the home. Would recommend and will use in the future. Thank yall for being so easy to work with.
The floor installer Joe took shortcuts and it's a rushed job. It's supposed to be a two-day project, but they rushed through this job within one day. Poor and incomplete workmanship in terms of removing and reattaching my baseboards. I instructed Joe to just leave the baseboards alone and keep in place after he removed some of them and claimed that they were damaged. So they tried to sell me on getting new baseboards for the whole house but I rejected their suggestion. However, Joe didn't care about what I wanted, and they still went ahead and removed then lowered my baseboards after installing the new LVP flooring on the first floor of my house. They left these long, unpainted, exposed, and ugly drywall gaps. They also damaged some of my baseboards and like I said, left behind these long wall gaps in several places. Joe didn't even bother to inform me about the difference in baseboards' heights after reattaching them to my walls. I had to find out about this myself after the floor installer had already "finished" and left. After I texted her my concerns and my complaint, the sales lady Kathy just kept telling me that it's "normal" to have these long exposed wall gaps. She even suggested that my new painter could just paint right over the rough and uneven gap ridges, without incurring additional expenses on my end. Oh really. I'd sure love to find out how much my new paint contractor would charge me just to repair these wall gaps!! Hire this flooring contractor at your own risks.
These are all boards that within 3 days started popping up off the floor. Many where high enough to catch a toe under. My foot was cut at night leaving a bedroom when I didn’t realize yet another board has popped up. Even with the safety concern, I had to push to get flooring direct to pay attention to me and get the installer back out. Then they tell me the night before that they’d be out from 9-10, so I canceled appointments to be home. They are 20 minutes late and act as though it’s no big deal so now my day is delayed further. Zero respect for clients time, sold on customer service and yet I had to be loud in order to actually receive service and sold on waterproof floors but yet, in under a week, they popped up and obviously were NOT water proof. They are currently fixing the poor install but that doesn’t change my experience and how much noise I had to make to get repairs to a floor that cut my foot and continued to expose my subfloor to moisture.
Can't say enough positives about our experience with Flooring Direct and their team. It was fantastic! We love our new floors and the install team did amazing! They were respectful, professional, and efficient! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are thinking about replacing your flooring, I highly recommend you visit with these folks!
Brian our salesman was great! Took the time to answer all Our questions. Explained pros and cons of different types and styles. Later my wife wasn’t sure about the color of Carpet so Brian went 30 mins out of his way on a Saturday to meet us and give us a sample to take home and make sure it would work since she wasn’t available for his initial visit. The office staff got us scheduled quickly for install. The install team answered all my questions. They were on time and they moved all our furniture back to the exact spot! It was like they took a picture of the room before. I was shocked they beat Lowes by over 1k with higher quality materials! As you can see in the photo my son loves lying on it while he plays. The pad and carpet are so soft! Thank you guys for making our rooms look wonderful!
