Magnolia Fence and Patio recently completed a fence and deck project which involved demolishing a large, roughly 30-year-old two level wooden deck and the fence surrounding most of the property and replacing them with a single level composite deck and a new 6-foot fence with an additional gate. The project was complicated by the fact the backyard is on a steep incline with a big drop towards the creek behind the house. We got bids from three companies and Magnolia was the middle one. Matt Swalec did a great job in the initial assessment and quote and checked in regularly to make sure we were satisfied with the progress. Given the challenges presented by our property, Robert Whittaker (one of the owners) came for a second visit to discuss the project details and gave me confidence that the company had solutions for all the challenges we faced (retaining walls, routing the rain water to the creek underground, creating an elegant transition of the fence from the bottom to the top areas, framing the deck with closer joist spacing and bigger posts than normal, and even containing bamboo growth that had been creeping under the old deck and closer to the house). Dakota Marshall was the project manager and he worked with me closely at every step. We ended up adding a wall at the bottom of the deck as well electrical outlets. I was impressed with the crew's efficiency, workmanship and attention to detail. We are very happy with the end result. Highly recommended.

I got three bids in replacing my fence. A big project over an acre is fenced.Realtor recommended Magnolia fence and patio. Met Collin from Magnolia, project manager, who walked the project with me to insure my needs were met. I was impressed with his professionalism and his bid was in my price range. His team was on time efficient and lead Alberto was great to communicate progress. Finished on time and did great job with hauling off and cleaning up. I’m glad I chose them and would recommend them to friends and family.

Magnolia was fantastic from beginning to end. Their team kept us up to date through the whole permitting/planning phase. After that, they had their subs lined up and ready to go so there wasn’t a delay between phases. They made our process turnkey, final pricing was right on budget and they were hands on and responsive the whole time. Can’t recommend Dakota, Michael, and the whole team enough!

The team at Magnolia Fence & Patio did a superb job replacing our backyard retaining wall and fence. The stone work looks great and the board on board fence was hand built on site and looks awesome. The teams started and got everything completed as scheduled.

We had our backyard fence professionally stained and sealed after years of sun exposure started fading the wood unevenly. The crew cleaned the surface thoroughly before applying the stain, which made a noticeable difference in the final appearance. The project took about two days including drying time. Compared to before, the fence looks dramatically refreshed and much more protected against future weather damage. The stain color brought out the natural grain of the wood and made the entire backyard feel more polished overall. It’s a maintenance project that improved both appearance and long-term durability significantly.
