Called twice, was supposed to get a call back from management and 36 hours later nothing yet. Driver decided to stack boxes, that I PURPOSEFULLY set to the side, ON TOP of our trash bin. Then claimed over fill so now it’s $100+ our normal bill. “Our drivers don’t get out” they do actually, and have multiple times. If the boxes were to have fallen when machine picks them up would they leave them? Overage fees are ridiculous and I’m highly aware of them so why would I do that to myself?

Can't even pick up trash when they are supposed to. I live in Richland Crossing and they repeatedly pick and choose whose trash they take and whwn they take it. For the past four weeks they've only taken my trash one out of the two days. I them and they said they would pick up the missed pick-up today,(Thursday) because they chose not to leave my trash can full and not pick up my stuff on Tuesday. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SAID IT WOULD BE DONE TODAY. Sick and tired of paying for service and not getting service. Also, don't lie to me over the phone and not follow through on what YOU said you were going to do. Absolutely substandard company. I will report you to the BBB. UPDATE: After calling Republic again over and over (double digit times with them no answer), compliance was called at 420 they came a 629 pm. Thats not how business should be handled.

I have been a commercial client for 7 years and they have scammed me out of hundreds to thousands of dollars!!! They have been charging me overage fees for other peoples dumpsters that are on my street the entire time. If they skip a pickup they won’t credit you unless you call, but I can guarantee you if it’s one inch too high you are getting billed extra for it. Horrible customer service!!! 1 hour plus to get someone on the phone and they don’t accomplish anything. It’s beyond ridiculous. (Not my dumpsters in photos and that was 5 overage charges just in the last two months $100+!!!)

A Disappointing Experience with Republic Services My experience with Republic Services has been consistently disappointing, marked by a frustrating lack of reliability and overly restrictive collection policies. Having never encountered significant issues with trash service before, Republic Services proved to be an unfortunate exception, ultimately leading to our city's contract not being renewed. One of the most persistent frustrations was their extreme pickiness regarding what they would collect. It felt as though every collection day was a gamble, wondering if our perfectly acceptable refuse would be deemed unsuitable for reasons that were often unclear or inconsistent. This level of scrutiny from a trash company is unprecedented in my experience and made proper waste disposal far more complicated than it needed to be. Beyond the finicky collection, service reliability was a major concern. On numerous occasions, Republic Services would simply skip our street entirely. This wasn't an isolated incident; it became a recurring problem that necessitated myself or a neighbor taking time out of our day to call and request a return trip. It's unacceptable for a fundamental service like trash collection to require constant oversight and intervention from customers. The culmination of these issues was particularly galling during their final days of service under our city's contract. Despite having paid for the service, Republic Services failed to show up for the last scheduled pickup. This complete abandonment of their responsibilities, especially at the very end of their tenure, underscored a profound lack of commitment to their customers. We paid for a service that was not delivered, leaving us to deal with accumulated waste without recourse. In summary, my time with Republic Services was characterized by unreliable pickups, overly stringent collection rules, and a general disregard for customer satisfaction. Their inability to consistently perform the basic functions of a waste management company made them a source of ongoing frustration, and it's clear why our city chose to move in a different direction.

Republic Services is having difficulty sending enough trucks to the Lakeside Addition in Benbrook, Texas. Only one truck has been showing up on our scheduled Wednesday pickup. The first time it happened the only truck failed to come down my street where the trash has to be put out no later than 7 a.m. for pickup. I ALWAYS SET MY TRASH OUT ON THE DAY IT IS SCHEDULED TO BE PICKED UP. When I found the driver that first time he skipped my street, he informed me that there was no other truck and that he would return the next day, Thursday, early in the morning and get my trash. He kept his word and returned. Then, this week, on Wednesday, August 6, there was only one truck. I expected the driver to return Thursday, as he had done previously, and did not call Republic Services about the missed pickup. When I realized Thursday, August 7, that he had not returned, I called Republic Services and was informed that because I had called "too late," there would not be any service until FRIDAY, August 8. When the truck again failed to pick up my trash, I contacted the city of Benbrook and was assured that a truck would be by to get my trash. THAT NEVER HAPPENED AND I HAVE A VOICEMAIL FROM CECILIA VENTURA THAT STATED QUITE CLEARLY THAT THE TRUCK WAS GOING TO PICK UP MY TRASH THAT FRIDAY. I ALSO SPOKE WITH A SUPERVISOR WHO ASSURED ME MY TRASH WOULD BE PICKED UP. IT DID NOT HAPPEN. INSTEAD, I RECEIVED AN "APOLOGY" IN THE FORM OF A TEXT MESSAGE THAT THEY WERE "SORRY" THEY MISSED MY PICKUP AND WOULD RETURN ON MONDAY, AUGUST 11, TO DISPOSE OF MY TRASH. I also found a tag someone had tied to my other trash cans informing me that I could not have two pickups, only one. How dare they not even bother to warn me of this. All this time I had set my trash on both driveways and they didn't even bother to let me know I could not do this. They need to show me in print where this RULE is located. Now I will have to drag my trash to the other driveway and they can pick all of it up from there. They will still have to pick it up even if it isn't on the second driveway. There are several vile words I can think of to describe how I have been callously treated.
